I just love food.  It is in my blood. I was born in Hong Kong and came to the UK to be educated.  Formerly a lawyer, I am now turning my hand to something that I have enjoyed all my life - food and writing.  I grew up eating Chinese and the whole range of Pan-asian food.   Food is the heart of Chinese families.  Whenever there is a social gathering, we all sit round the table, tucking in, offering food to others and pouring Chinese tea.

My non-Chinese friends always ask me to order for the whole table whenever we go to a Chinese or Japanese restaurant.  I have also come to realise that some dishes at a restaurant (no matter how good the restaurant may be) are  better than others.  That's why I decided to recommend my favourite dishes at restaurants that I have reviewed here.

Like a typical Chinese, I am rather obsessed with food. I am passionate about spreading the word about the beauty and simplicity of cuisine from  this region.  Once tasted, never forgotten.

As people travel more and more and further afield into the Far East, they may have immersed themselves into the local cuisine.  Like me, they may be looking for the best there is to offer when they are back in London. Wherever I travel, it excites me to find terrific restaurants or eateries.  They don't need to be Michelin-starred nor always glamorous. Food in London, including Pan-asian food, has come a long way, making London now one of the top food destinations.  Join me in my journey of discovery of the best Chinese, Japanese, Thai, Malaysian/Singaporean, Vietnamese and Korean cuisine in London.

Enjoy reading my guide to the top Pan Asian restaurants in London for some ideas on where to eat. Read my independent restaurant reviews, recommending what to eat and what occasion they are great for. Check out the hottest and latest restaurant openings.

I also love chatting to people and learning from them. Read my interviews with top chefs with their inspiring stories and my other musings.

Food brings people together, brings families together.  Happy times, happy memories.

Let’s eat!
